Tripura Assembly Speaker Rebati Mohan Das has resigned. He submitted his resignation to Deputy Speaker Biswabandhu Sen. Das said, he resigned from the position of the Speaker for personal reasons.
According to sources Biswa Bandhu Sen will now be the Speaker while Arun Chandra Bhowmik Deputy Speaker.
In the meantime, BJP state unit president Dr Manik Saha appointed Rebati Mohan Das as a vice president.
