Rebati Tripura , BJP MP from East Tripura Parliamentary constituency was given Bharat Youth Award in New Delhi on Thursday by Bharat Gaurav Award Foundation on the occasion of International Youth Day. Union Minister of State for Rural Development- Faggan Singh Kulaste was present as the chief guest.
Tripura got the award in the category of ‘Role of Youth in India’s Development’.
Aving received the award, Tripura tweeted, “Today, I have been awarded the Bharat Youth Award by Hon’ble Union Minister of State Shri @fskulaste ji in “Role of Youth in India’s Development” who also participated in the program as chief guest. The event was organized by Bharat Gaurav Award Foundation in New Delhi.”
Tripura and MLA Ramapada Jamatia also paid a courtesy visit to Union Minister for Railways- Ashwini Vaishnaw in Rail Bhavan, New Delhi and submitted to him demands for a Railway Division and Recruitment Board in Tripura. They also requested the Railway Minister to expedite the railway connectivity in Kanchanpur, Gandacherra, Amarpur, Karbook and Jampuijala sub-divisions.
