Residents, predominantly from the jhumia family, voiced concerns over dilapidated roads and water scarcity, alleging administrative negligence. Highlighting prolonged drinking water shortages and impassable roads, especially during the monsoon, villagers expressed frustration with the authorities’ inaction.

Responding to the escalating situation, a delegation led by DM Bardhan promptly visited the village, assessing the challenges firsthand. After engaging with the community, Bardhan pledged expedited action on their concerns following the electoral process.
