Agriculture Minister Ratanlal Nath in a recent address at an event held in Mohanpur market, reiterated the commitment of the Tripura state government to multifaceted development initiatives aimed at transforming the region. The primary focus of these initiatives, according to the minister, is infrastructure development and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Tripura.
Minister Nath articulated the state government’s overarching objective as ‘Ek Tripura Unnata Tripura,’ emphasizing their determination to uplift the state comprehensively. To achieve this vision, a series of development plans are being actively implemented across districts, sub-divisions, and blocks within the state.
Some of the key highlights of the ongoing development projects include:
- The completion of a two-story market stall at Mohanpur.
- The construction of a modern town hall currently in progress.
- New school buildings under construction to enhance educational infrastructure.
- Establishment of three gyms, with plans for five more in the pipeline.
- The successful completion of a synthetic football turf at Tulabagan, funded at Rs. 5 crore.
- Ongoing construction of a public library to promote literacy and learning.
Minister Nath also highlighted the significant improvements in road infrastructure within the Mohanpur sub-division, with the imminent completion of a Bailey bridge. He stressed the pivotal role of connectivity development in driving socio-economic growth in the region.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Executive Member of TTAADC Runiel Debbarma, Chairperson of Mohanpur Municipal Council Anita Debnath, and other prominent figures, who expressed their support for the state government’s development initiatives.
