Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple during Ganeshotsav to seek Lord Ganpati’s blessings ahead of the arrival of their second child.
Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who are preparing to welcome their second child, visited Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday during the ongoing Ganeshotsav celebrations. The couple sought blessings from Lord Ganpati as they entered another important chapter of their family life.
The temple visit came as the couple awaits the arrival of their second baby. Deepika, who is expecting their second child, was seen accompanying Ranveer during the visit. The couple opted for traditional ethnic outfits for their temple appearance, keeping their attire in keeping with the festive occasion.
Deepika was dressed in a comfortable maternity ethnic outfit featuring shades of hot orange, jungle green and purple. Her outfit reflected the festive spirit while allowing her to move comfortably during the temple visit. Ranveer, meanwhile, wore a purple kurta paired with white pyjamas, presenting a traditional look for the religious occasion.
During their arrival, Deepika was seen walking carefully ahead of Ranveer with her baby bump. Ranveer moved through the crowd with quick steps before joining his wife. The couple’s appearance at the temple attracted attention from devotees and onlookers who gathered during the Ganeshotsav celebrations.
The Siddhivinayak visit was not Ranveer’s first religious appearance during the ongoing festivities. On Thursday night, the actor also visited Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja to seek blessings. For that visit to the popular Navsacha Ganapati in the Currey Road area, Ranveer wore a cream-coloured kurta.
Ranveer and Deepika are already parents to their daughter Dua, who was born in September 2024. Since becoming parents, the couple has largely maintained privacy around their daughter and has chosen to keep her away from the public eye. They have occasionally shared glimpses of Dua with their fans and followers.
In September 2026, on Dua’s second birthday, Ranveer and Deepika shared intimate photographs from her early days, along with pictures from Deepika’s maternity shoot. The family’s second pregnancy had been announced by the couple in April 2026, confirming that they were preparing to welcome another addition to their family.
Ranveer and Deepika got married in November 2018 at Lake Como in Italy. Their wedding ceremonies followed Konkani Hindu and Sikh Anand Karaj traditions. Since then, the couple has remained one of Bollywood’s closely followed celebrity pairs, with considerable public interest in both their personal and professional lives.
On the professional front, Ranveer Singh recently witnessed significant box-office success with the Dhurandhar franchise. The actor is set to appear next in Pralay, adding another major project to his upcoming lineup.
Deepika Padukone, meanwhile, will be seen sharing the screen with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming film King. The project has generated considerable interest among Hindi cinema audiences, particularly because of the actors’ previous successful collaborations.
