Raghav Chadha hosts Sanjay Dutt at his residence, praising his powerful role in Dhurandhar. The AAP leader shares admiration for the Bollywood star’s enduring legacy, as the blockbuster duology continues to gain widespread audience appreciation.

In a warm and friendly interaction that brought together politics and cinema, Raghav Chadha recently hosted Bollywood icon Sanjay Dutt at his residence, expressing heartfelt admiration for the veteran actor’s latest performance in the blockbuster film duology Dhurandhar.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha member took to Instagram to share glimpses of the memorable meeting. Posting a series of pictures, Chadha described Dutt as one of the “warmest people” he knows, highlighting not just the actor’s professional brilliance but also his personal charm.

“Had the pleasure of hosting at my place, some time ago, one of the warmest people I know, Sanjay Dutt,” Chadha wrote in his caption, reflecting a genuine bond beyond the public personas both figures carry.

Chadha also heaped praise on Dutt’s role as SP Aslam in Dhurandhar, a high-octane action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar. The film, which has been receiving strong audience appreciation, features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Danish Pandor, Gaurav Gera, and Sara Arjun.

“So good to see all the love coming your way for ‘Dhurandhar’. The aura remains the same, and so does the admiration people have for you through every era. Couldn’t be more deserved. Always rooting for you!” Chadha added, underscoring Dutt’s enduring popularity across generations.

The first installment of Dhurandhar, released in 2025, revolves around a covert counter-terrorism operation. The story follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi’s criminal networks and political structures to dismantle a terror syndicate targeting India. The gripping narrative and high production value contributed to its blockbuster status.

The sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, released in March, takes the story forward with heightened intensity. It continues the journey of the undercover agent as he seeks justice for the 26/11 attacks while confronting larger geopolitical threats. The storyline draws loose inspiration from several real-life events in South Asia, including Operation Lyari, the 2014 Indian general election, and the 2016 demonetisation, adding layers of realism to the cinematic experience.

Beyond his professional commitments, Chadha has also been in the spotlight for his personal life. He married Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra in 2023 in a grand ceremony held in Rajasthan. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Neer, in October 2025, marking a new chapter in their lives.
