Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb led the party in Tripura in paying homage to party ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his death anniversary on Friday.
Tripura Pradesh BJP held a programme at the Party office in Agartala today in which Deb along with the State party president Dr Manik Saha and other activists paid tributes to ‘Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay on his Punya Tithi’.
Deb said, All the karyakartas are committed to walk on the path shown by Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Ji.
Earlier, in a tweet, the Chief Minister wrote, “Humble tributes to the prominent thinker & a visionary leader Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay Ji on his Punya Tithi. His idea of ‘Antyodaya’ & ‘Integral Humanism’ have been inspiring principles for the progress of our nation. We strive to attain ‘Antyodaya’ for the welfare of the country”.
Keeping parity with the other parts of the State and the entire country, Raima Valley Mandal of BJP observed death anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay on Friday.
On the occasion, the party leaders and workers offered tributes in memory of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay who introduced the concept of Integral Humanism.
Among the others, Raima Valley Mandal president Samir Ranjan Tripura, State Committee Member of Kishan Morcha Gopal Sarkar, District leader of BJP Bikash Chakma, General Secretary of the Mandal Madan Bijoy Chakma , Yuba Morcha president Sajal Mallik were present on the occasion. The speakers discussed different aspects of life of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya at the meeting.
