Prati Ghare Sushason” campaign has started in the state to give the benefits of flagship schemes of the central government and various schemes of the state government to the people from the district to the gram panchayat level. The campaign will be launched in the state on September 17 on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The campaign will continue in the state till November 30. A high-level meeting was held for this programme at the conference hall of the Secretariat on 9 September. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha presided over the meeting. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Information and Cultural Affairs Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Chairman Tinku Roy, Chief Secretary J.K Sinha, Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest KS Shetty and different department heads, secretaries and principal secretaries.

Chief Minister said that Tripura was praised in the country for the implementation of flagship schemes and different development programmes of the Central Government in the state. In some cases, the success rate has been 100 percent. The government has taken Prati Ghare Sushason programme to give benefits of central schemes and state government schemes to all the people of the state. Chief Minister said that this programme should be completed in a mission mode in the state. This programme has been taken up with the aim of achieving hundred percent success in implementing the developmental schemes. Chief Minister said that all the districts and best performing departments which will work to give the benefits of government schemes to the people will be rewarded. In the meeting, Chief Secretary J.K Sinha said Prati Ghare Sushason is a special campaign of the Tripura government. The objective of this campaign is to deliver developmental services to people and to ensure benefits of different schemes of Central and State Governments to all beneficiaries. He said that this programme should be implemented in the state in a festive mood and with coordination between all departments of the administration.

At the beginning of the meeting, Information and Cultural Affairs Department Secretary, Pradip Kumar Chakraborty highlighted Prati Ghare Sushason campaign through a PowerPoint presentation. In the meeting, the Secretary of Information and Cultural Affairs Department said that as part of Prati Ghare Sushason programme district level Villas Melas meetings, district level and field level camps. This campaign will ensure the benefits of all the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PM-Kisan, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Bharat Net Scheme, Soil Health Card, Kisan Credit Card, Atal Pension Yojana, Mukhyamantri Yuva Yugajog Yojana and SVANidhi Scheme. Moreover, various benefits will be provided at the field level. Construction of special markets for farmers, construction of cold storage for farmers and fishermen, construction of canals for improved irrigation system, construction of check dams will be done. Committees will be constituted at different levels for the smooth implementation of this campaign in the state. In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion about the programme that will be implemented by different departments for this campaign.
