The sacred ritual for Pran Pratishtha of Ram Darbar on the first floor of Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya started today. The three-day religious rituals that started today will culminate with consecration on June 5.
A 12-hour-long puja from 6:30 am was performed by 101 Vedic Acharyas under the leadership of Kashi’s scholar Pandit Jaiprakash. Various Adhivas and Palki Yatra will be organized on June 4, while the main Prana Pratishtha ceremony will be held on June 5. The main event will include the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Darbar on the first floor of the temple, as well as the consecration of idols in six other temples. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and several other guests will attend this Pran Pratishtha event. Shri Ram janmbhoomi teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Shri Champat Rai appealed to everyone not to rush for darshan of Ram Darbar, as visitors will not be allowed on the first floor.
Ayodhya District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde confirmed that extensive arrangements have been made, including shaded rest areas, drinking water stations, and mobile toilets. Apart from that, security has been intensified with the deployment of ATS and STF teams to ensure a smooth and secure event.
