Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the remarkable achievement of India’s Solar PV Module Manufacturing Capacity and efforts towards popularising clean energy.
Quoting a post of New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi, Mr. Modi said that this is yet another milestone towards self-reliance. The Prime Minister said that it depicts the success of India’s manufacturing capabilities and our efforts towards popularising clean energy.
Mr. Joshi in a social media post highlighted that India has achieved a historic milestone, 100 Gigawatt Solar PV Module Manufacturing Capacity under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers, which is a remarkable rise from just 2.3 Gigawatt in 2014.
