Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held a meeting with Maldives Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri along with senior officials of both nations were also attended the meeting. The Prime Minister is also holding meetings with other dignitaries of the Maldives. The Maldives is celebrating its 60th Independence Day today and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the ‘Guest of Honour’ at the ceremony.
