Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. arrived in the national capital today for a five-day state visit to India. In a social media post, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal informed that Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita received and accorded Mr. Marcos a warm welcome.
Mr. Jaiswal stated that as India and the Philippines celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, this visit by the Philippine President will lead to further strengthening of relations between the two nations.
