NSE, BSE swap derivatives expiry days

Must Read

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have swapped their weekly derivatives expiry days with effect from today, following approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Under the new schedule, Nifty derivatives will now expire on Tuesdays, while Sensex derivatives on the BSE will expire on Thursdays.
Earlier, during mid June both the exchanges had informed about getting approval from SEBI for interchanging expiry days. This move is part of a broader effort to streamline expiry days across exchanges and reduce volatility.
