NSA Ajit Doval Holds Key Security Talks with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan Officials in Bishkek

 
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with the Secretary of the Security Council of Uzbekistan, Viktor Makhmudov in Bishkek. The Indian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic informed that both sides reviewed bilateral cooperation in the fields of security and intelligence cooperation, and also exchanged views on the security situation in Afghanistan. The Embassy added that they also discussed enhancing cooperation in defence and connectivity issues.
 
 
Mr Doval also met with the Secretary of the Security Council of Kazakhstan, Gizat Daurenbekovich Nurdauletov. The Indian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic informed that both sides reviewed bilateral cooperation in the security sphere. They also discussed measures to address common challenges of terrorism, radicalisation, drug trafficking and extremism. The Embassy added that Mr Doval and Mr Daurbekov also exchanged views on regional challenges and agreed to continue close coordination within multilateral security frameworks.
