Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam made the plea yesterday before the three-member ICT-1 bench, headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumder, after completing five days of law-point arguments on behalf of the prosecution.
According to reports from United News of Bangladesh (UNB), the Chief Prosecutor also requested the tribunal to decide on an appropriate sentence for former Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, who testified as a state witness in the case.
