The newly appointed and promoted Tripura Civil Services (TCS) officers of 2021 batch were felicitated at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan on Saturday.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb attended the felicitation programme as chief guest organized by the Tripura Service Officers Association.

Speaking on the occasion, Deb said, the officials need to pay attention as to how the work can be completed before the stipulated time.

“TCS officers play an important role in ensuring the rights of the people in a timely manner. Along with ensuring the public work in time, the officials need to think about how the work could be completed before the stipulated time,” said Deb.

He said, if the work is being done by fixing the target, the time could be saved and also help provide service as well.

Deb stressed on providing successful implementation of all services from the highest level of government to the Panchayat level.

While addressing the gathering Chief Secretary Kumar Alok said, “The profession gives opportunity to work for the public along with utilising individual officer’s own talent.”

Tripura Service Officers Association Secretary, Ashim Saha and president D K Chakma were present on the occasion.
