The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important reminder to eligible candidates regarding the NEET UG 2026 fee refund process, urging them to update or confirm their bank account details before the deadline ending today, July 7, 2026, at 11:50 p.m. The agency has warned that candidates who fail to complete the verification process within the stipulated timeline may lose the opportunity to receive their fee refunds.
According to the latest update released by the NTA on Monday, only 8,29,510 candidates have so far updated or confirmed their bank account details through the official NEET portal. The agency stated that the refund process has already commenced for candidates whose banking information has been successfully verified and confirmed.
The NTA reiterated that candidates who have not yet completed the process should immediately log in to the official NEET UG portal and verify or update their banking details. Those who submit the required information before the deadline will be considered for the next phase of refund disbursements.
To complete the process, candidates must visit the official NEET UG website and access the link titled “Final Opportunity to Confirm/Update Bank Account Details for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund (Exam held on May 3, 2026).” After logging in with their application credentials, candidates can review the bank account information already submitted, make any necessary corrections, and save the updated details.
The agency has advised all candidates to carefully verify critical banking information, including the bank account number, IFSC code, account holder’s name, and other relevant details, before submitting the final confirmation. Since the submitted information will be treated as final, the NTA has made it clear that no requests for modification of bank account details will be accepted after the deadline expires.
Candidates are also encouraged to download and save the confirmation page generated after successful submission. This document may serve as proof of completion of the verification process and could be useful for future reference in case of any refund-related queries.
The NTA further informed that refunds have already begun for candidates who completed the confirmation process earlier. Eligible candidates who update their banking details before the closing time today will receive their refunds in the subsequent phase of payment processing.

The refund initiative is aimed at ensuring that eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates receive their fee reimbursements without unnecessary delays.
