The Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 is set to take place on the 5th of July at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. Initially, it was scheduled for the 24th of May, but the event was deferred due to Operation Sindoor, and to show solidarity with the nation.
It is India’s first-ever International Javelin competition.It is spearheaded by India’s two-time Olympic medalist, Neeraj Chopra and sanctioned by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). The event promises to elevate India’s status on the global athletics map. It will feature a stellar line-up of elite javelin throwers, including the participation of several Olympic medallists, including Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Chopra, Thomas Rohler, Anderson Peters and others.
