Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita landed in Maseru city of Lesotho yesterday evening on a visit to the country. He was welcomed by Principal Secretary Foreign Affairs and International Relations of Lesotho, Thabang Lekhela.
In a social media post, Mr Margherita said he is looking forward to engaging the leadership to further strengthen bilateral relations. During the visit, the MoS will have bilateral meeting with Eswatini’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations. He is expected to meet the Minister of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation, the Minister of Education and Training, and the Minister of Labour and Employment in Maseru.
Earlier yesterday, he met the vibrant Indian diaspora in Eswatini. In a social media post, the MoS said their valuable contributions continue to strengthen people-to-people connections and further deepen the bilateral ties between India and Eswatini.
