Keeping in mind the next assembly elections the Tripura government has been undertaking major transfers and new postings for the police officials at varied levels. Some postings and subsequent transfers have also become necessary for induction and distribution of responsibilities of new officers – direct in police service or promoted.
On Wednesday the government reshuffled the police administration with a rejig of as many as 34 officers. Before that two officer in charge of the city police stations were also shifted.
On Wednesday Avinash Res, 1PS, SDPO, Kenchanpus, has been transferred and posted as Adal SP(Rural), WestTripura, while Piyamadhori Majumdar, Add. SP{Rural}, West Tripura has been transferred and posted as Addl SP Crime Branch. Tapas Kanti Paul, SDPO, Sadar, has been sent as Dy. SP (Special Branch)
Ajay Kr. Das Dy. SP(Crime Branch)has been shifted to Sadar as SDPO and Dipankar Pal, SDPO, Jampuijala has been transferred and posted
as Dy. SP, Senahijala District. Deba Prasad Roy, attached to the office of SP,Dalai is transferred and pasted as SDPO, Jampuijala.
Pinaki Samanta, Comdt, ACHRR training with additional charges of Comndt, TSR 2nd Battalion has been posted as Comdt., TSR 2″ Bn
Anirban Dhar Choudhury Dy Commandant TSR 7th Battalion now posted as in charge commandant 7th battalion.
Alok Bhattacharjee Addl. SP(Unakoti)has been transferred as in charge AIGP (Estt), PHQ.
Sudipta Das AIGP (HQ) has been relieved of his additional charge of AIGP establishment.
Prasenjit Ghosh, Dy. Comet, TSR 10th Bn, has been Transferred and posted as In-charge, Comat, TSR 15th Bn ( under training). Amitabha Paul Addl. SP
(Khowai), has been shifted and posted as In-charge, SP(GRP). Biplab Deb SP(GRP) with additional charge of SP (Communication) has been given full charge of SP Communication.
Asish Debnath, Dy Commandant 1st BN TSR has been posted as in charge commandant 11th battlion TSR.
Manik Das 1st battalion TSR Commandant who was holding the additional charge of 11th battalion TSR has been relieved of his additional charge of 11th battalion.
Kishan Kumar, Addl. SP(Crine Branch), has been transferred and posted 25 In-charge, AIGP| Welfare.
H, Sunga Darlong, AIGP[Trg.) with additional charge of
AIGP(Pohice Housing & Construction and welfare has been relieved from
the additional charge of AIGP(Policr Housing & Construction/ Welfare).
Asok Kr. Sinha Additional SP SB has been transferred and posted as In-charge, Principal, KTDS PTA, Trip
Sudeshna Bhattacharjee, who was holding additional charge of Principal, KTDS PTA, has been relieved from the additional charge of Principal, KTDS PTA.
Shishir Kr. Das, Dy Commandant 8th Bn TSR has been transferred and posted as In charge, Comdt, TSR 14 Bn ( under training).
