The Maiden India Navy Half Marathon has been rescheduled to 2nd February next year at New Delhi. The event was earlier scheduled to be conducted on 6th October this year. The Defence Ministry said that the Half Marathon aims to promote health, fitness and community engagement along with strengthening the Navy’s ties with civil society. The Ministry hopes that this will raise awareness on the Navy’s vital role in safeguarding the nation’s maritime security and interests.
