Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 PM following the ruckus created by the Opposition over various issues. When the Lok Sabha met at 11 AM, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla took up Question Hour, but the Opposition members started sloganeering and trooped into the well of the House demanding discussion on Special Intensive Revision in Bihar and other issues. Mr Birla appealed to the opposition to allow Question Hour, saying that their conduct is not per the dignity of the House. He expressed concern about creating a disruption and displaying placards inside the House. He urged the protesting members to go back to their seats and allow the House to function. Mr Birla said that, after completion of the Question Hour, he will allow members to speak on the issues under the rules they want to raise. But the Opposition members did not pay heed to his appeal and continued with their protest. As the pandemonium continued, the Speaker adjourned the House till 2 PM. However, amid the noisy scene, Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri replied to a question related to CNG coverage across the country.
