Locket Chatterjee BJP MP from West Bengal, joined the campaign for the 57th Jubarajnagar Assembly constituency by-election on Monday. Also present were minister Bhagwan Das, state BJP general secretary Tinku Roy, state youth front president Nabadal Banik, 57 Jubarajnagar Mandal president Nantu Goswami and candidate Molina Debnath.

After three consecutive days of inclement weather, the day got better on Monday morning. Following the news of BJP MP Locket Chatterjee’s arrival, people started gathering in Tilthai market from morning. Addressing the gathering, Chatterjee said, ‘the candidate for 57- Jubarajnagar assembly constituency is a symbol of female power. People of India have great devotion to the power of women’.

She called upon people to vote for candidate Molina Debnath and ensure her victory with huge margin.

 “In 2018, the people of this state were liberated from CPI-M regime. The BJP freed people from misrule and mis-governance”, Chatterjee lauded the way the double-engine government in the state of Tripura is moving the state towards development.
