Union Minister of Commerce and Industries Piyush Goyal said that the largest industrial parks among the 12 proposed in the recent Union Budget will be established near Dighi Port in Raigad district of Maharashtra, and investors are enthusiastic about the project.
Speaking to reporters in Mumbai on Saturday, he praised the budget as one that strengthens the country’s economy. He expressed confidence that Maharashtra, with its extensive cooperative societies, will be the largest beneficiary of the proposed National Cooperation Policy.
