Kidambi Srikanth wins silver at US Open badminton tournament

In Badminton, Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth secured the silver medal in the men’s singles event at the US Open today after finishing as runner-up in the final. Srikanth went down against Chinese Taipei’s Su Li-yang in a hard-fought three-game contest, losing 15-21, 21-16, and 9-21 in the finals. The defeat also extended Srikanth’s wait for a BWF title, as his last international title came at the French Open in 2017 during the BWF Superseries era.
