JP Nadda Urges Push for Indian Ideology, Cites Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Vision –

Union Health Minister and BJP National President J.P Nadda has emphasized on building India’s own ideology and taking it forward by giving prominence to Indian thinking. Addressing the National Commemorative Seminar on 60 years of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya’s integral humanism lectures in New Delhi on Sunday, Mr. Nadda said that it was the vision of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya to have India’s own standards, as the country earlier had a huge Western influence. He asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation has become the 4th largest economy in the world with a focus on indigenous production. He said that a decade earlier, India used to import 92 percent of mobile phones, but now the country is making 97 percent of mobile phones and also exporting them. He added that India’s defence production has reached 1.30 lakh crores. The Minister further added that 25 percent of people have come out of below poverty line. Mentioning government initiatives like PM-AWAS, SWACHHTA Abhiyan, and Kisan Samman Nidhi, Mr. Nadda said that the government is not only empowering women, farmers, and marginalized sections of society but also bringing them to the mainstream.
