In Ladakh, the Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh, Tahir Hussain Zubdavi today inspected the ongoing preparations for the upcoming 5th LG Cup Ice Hockey Championship at the Ice Hockey Rink, Biamathang.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the championship will commence from 12th January, and the Chief Secretary, UT Ladakh will grace the opening ceremony, along with the Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil.
Tahir Hussain Zubdavi said that 15 teams from across Ladakh , including 5 women’s teams will participate in the tournament. He urged ice hockey lovers and sports enthusiasts to visit the Biamathang Ice Hockey Rink in large numbers to encourage the players and teams.
