Several NGOs of Behliangchhip Village and students of Jampui Hills began an indefinite road block starting from Monday morning protesting transfer of the lone Economics Post Graduate Teacher from Jampui Higher Secondary School along with some other teachers. The citizens and NGOs all extended their support to the protest.

They also demand reinstatement of other teachers of the school who are on deputation in other schools.

The organizations write a letter to Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath liting their demand.

Recently the Education department had transferred Joseph Lalthlanawama (PGT), Remruatdika (PGT), J Lalena (PGT), Zoramthanga Varte (A/T), Pranab Chaudhury (A?T) and John Saikeng (A/T).
