In a statement they asked the motorists and bikers to drive and ride slowly and safely so as to ensure safety of not only the drivers/ riders but also the residents and other tourists.

The NGOs has forbidden use of drugs and alcohol during the tourists’ stay in the Jampui Hills saying “this request aims to ensure a safe, healthy, and enjoyable experience of your visit to our beautiful place. Consumption, possession and sale of drugs and alcohol, and creating public nuisance under the influences are not only against our community standards but also illegal and punishable offence”.
