In Hockey, The Indian Junior men’s hockey team will participate in the 12th edition of the Sultan of Johor Cup beginning tomorrow in Malaysia.
PR Sreejesh will take charge as Head Coach with defender Amir Ali serving as Captain and Rohit named as his deputy. India will begin its campaign against Japan tomorrow. The match is scheduled to start at 1:35 pm IST.
India will take on Great Britain on 20th of this month, Malaysia on 22nd, followed by a match with Australia on 23rd. In the last group stage match, on 25th of this month, India will take on New Zealand .
The Sultan of Johor Cup was founded in 2011, India and Great Britain became the first teams to win the title thrice.
