India U-17 men’s football team secured a 3-0 victory over Nepal in the semi-final of the SAFF U-17 Championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This win ensures their place in the final, where they will face Bangladesh, who earlier triumphed 2-0 over Pakistan.
Wangkheirakpam Gunleiba opened the scoring in the 61st minute, followed by goals from substitutes Azlaan Shah in 80 minute and Diamond Singh Thokchom in 90+4 time to complete the dominant performance.
With this win, the Blue Colts continue their unbeaten run and remain on track for a fourth consecutive title in the tournament.
