India to take on England in Final of FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers 2026 today

In Women’s Hockey, India will take on England in the Final of the FIH Hockey World Cup Qualifiers 2026 at G. M. C. Balayogi Hockey Ground in Telangana this evening. The match will begin at 7:30 pm. Both teams have remained unbeaten on their way to the final. Salima Tete led India stormed into the Finals beating Italy 1-nil last night. India’s Manisha Chauhan scored the winning goal at the 40th minute. Notably, India secured a berth in the FIH Hockey World Cup, which is to be held this year, after the triumph over Italy. India secured a qualification for the Women’s Hockey World Cup for the third time in a row (2018,2022 and 2026).
