India to Face Australia in First T20I at Canberra Today; Match Begins at 1:45 PM IST

Must Read

The first T20 of the 5-match cricket series between India and Australia will be played at Manuka Oval in Canberra today. The match will start at 1:45 PM Indian time.

Suryakumar Yadav and his men will look to start off their series with a win, and somewhat avenge the 1-2 loss to the Aussies in the ODI series.
The T20I series is of tremendous significance to both India and Australia, as the no.1 and no.2 teams in the ICC T20I rankings face off in what will act as a major preparation for the T20 World Cup 2026, which is set to take place in February-March.

India and Australia last faced off in this format in the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2024, where the Men in Blue came up victorious. India will be boosted by the return of Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested in the ODI series.
