In Cricket, India will resume their first innings at the overnight score of 145 for 3 against hosts England on Day 3 of the third Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Lord’s in London today.

The match will begin at 3:30 PM Indian Standard Time. The visitors currently trail by 242 runs, after England were bowled out for 387 in their first innings.

On Day 2 yesterday, Jasprit Bumrah claimed his maiden five-wicket haul at Lord’s in Test cricket, dismissing half of the English side.

In response, India began their innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal departing early after scoring just 13 runs. However, KL Rahul and Karun Nair steadied the innings with a 50-run partnership, before Nair was dismissed for 40. Skipper Shubman Gill also fell for 16.

At stumps, KL Rahul remained unbeaten on the back of his 19th Test fifty, with Vice-Captain Rishabh Pant giving him company at the crease. The five-match Test series is currently leveled up with 1-1.
