India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red colour warning for very heavy rainfall with isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is also expected over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh during the next two days. Similar weather conditions will prevail over Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, and parts of North East India during the next two to three days.
The Met Department also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Karnataka, Telangana, Vidarbha and Andaman and Nicobar Islands tomorrow. A fresh spell of rain brought relief from heat to the people of Delhi. IMD also forecast a generally cloudy sky tomorrow for Delhi. According to the Weather Agency, the maximum temperature will be around 31 to 33 degree Celsius in the National Capital while the minimum temperature will hover around 24 to 26 degree Celsius tomorrow.
