Cold wave conditions are very likely to commence over parts of North India starting tomorrow. Talking exclusively to Akashvani News, India Meteorological Department senior scientist Dr RK Jenamani said that an orange alert for very dense fog conditions has been issued for North India, including the Delhi-NCR region, for tomorrow. He further mentioned that heavy rainfall and snowfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and interior parts of Maharashtra tomorrow.
The weather department also forecast a fall in minimum temperatures by 3-5 degrees Celsius over Northwest India during the next two days, with no significant change expected thereafter. Minimum temperatures over Northwest India, including Delhi, as well as Central and East India, were recorded between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius today.
