Union Ministry of State for Social Justice and Women Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik will inaugurate the ‘Amaar Tripura Sustha Tripura’ (My Tripura Healthy Tripura), 9th annual health awareness programme of the Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura at Agartala Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan on January 1 next.
Science-based discussions (CME) on the treatment of various complex diseases of women would start from 10 am on the day.
Leading oncologist from Kolkata- Dr. Madhuchhanda Kar, eminent nephrologist Dr. Sharmila Thukral, eminent cardiologist Dr. Supradeep Kundu, eminent medicine specialist Dr. Krishna Basu Roy and Dr. Jyotirmoy Pal will discuss at CME.
Four eminent specialist doctors- Dr. Mukut Roy, Dr. JL Vaidya, Dr. Soma Saha and Dr. Aparajita Pal of the state will take part in the discussion.
Padma Shri awardee Gymnast Deepa Karmakar will be present as the guest of honor.
As part of the programme, the Foundation’s ‘Doctor of the Year’ award will be presented at the ceremony.
The entire ceremony will be held following the Covid-19 norms.
