Evidently happy at the success and achievements in several sectors by the Tripura government Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally assured Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb that he would extend all help for further development of the state.
During his travel from MBB Airport to Swami Vivekananda Maidain and also during his return Prime Minister asked the Chief Minister to accompany him in his car. As both of them sat inside the car Modi told Chief Minister to undertake some ambitious and pro-people projects and told him that he would look into the projects when sent to him. The Prime Minister himself came up with some ideas for Tripura and advised the Chief Minister as to how the government should go ahead with some pro-people endeavours. He even suggested as to how the City-Airport road should be made more attractive and wide and befitting for a road leading to international airport.
“The Prime Minister was very happy and he asked me go whole hog with development activities. The Prime Minister assured me that he would help the state government in every possible ways”, said the Chief Minister to tripuranet.com.
In the meantime five High Court judges led by Chief Justice Indrajit Mohanty met the Prime Minister at VIP Lounge of the MBB Airport and discussed about enhancement of judicial infrastructure of the state. The discussion lasted for about 25 minutes.
