Former Union Tourism Minister and eminent Film Actor Chiranjeevi Konidela has been honoured with the award of the most prolific star in the Indian film industry by the Guinness World Records at an event in Hyderabad last night.
The certificate has been handed over by a representative of the Guinness World Records and the event also saw Bollywood senior actor Aamir Khan sharing the dais. The certificate presented read – the most prolific film star in Indian Film Industry-actor/dancer is Konidela Chiranjeevi aka Mega Star achieved on 20 September 2024.
Thanking everyone for the honour, Chiranjeevi said he never expected to get Guinness World Records and all these years of his film career, dance had become part of his life. He has performed 24 thousand dance moves in 537 songs in his 156 films in several languages in a span of 45 years
