The council of ministers on Tuesday approved recruitment in 50 vacant posts of stenographers. Information and Cultural Affairs minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced the cabinet decision in a press conference at the civil secretariat.
He said, the recruitment under the General Administration (Personnel and Training) department would be done through Tripura Public Service Commission soon.
Besides, the cabinet also cleared creation of 15 posts for recruitment in five categories under the Urban Development department.
The posts are- Office Superintendent, Head Clerk, Upper Division Clerk, Joint Junior Resource Assistant and Resource Assistant, Chowdhury told the media.
Briefing on the latest Covid situation, he said the infection rate in the state at present is 0.29 percent and the figure is 0.15 percent in the Agartala Municipal Corporation area.
