Prati Ghare Sushason campaign has started in the state to deliver the benefits of government schemes and services till the last person of the remote areas of the state.

Various benefits are being delivered to the citizens through Sushason camps and Vikas Mela on block, Gram Panchayat and ADC village levels so far under this campaign. The campaign is being implemented in the state in Mission mode, stated Information & Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury in a review meeting held at Dhalai DM office yesterday on the progress of Prati Ghare Sushason campaign in the state. ICA Minister said, the benefits of government schemes and services must be delivered to the people through Vikas Mela and Sushason camps. He emphasized upon conducting Vikas Mela in second phase again in those Panchayat and villages where first phase of Vikas Mela already has been conducted. MLA Swapna Das Pal, MDC Bhumikananda Reang, Chairperson of Ambassa Municipal Council Mamata Das, Secretary of ICA department Dr. P. K. Chakraborty, ADM Moslem Uddin Ahmed, BDOs of different blocks of the district, officials of different departments were present in the meeting.

      Secretary of ICA department Dr. P. K. Chakraborty reviewed different programs of Prati Ghare Sushason campaign in the review meeting. It was informed in the meeting that Aadhar cards have been distributed to 6,761 persons, PRTC have been distributed to 3,314 persons and income certificates have been distributed to 4,862 persons in Dhalai district so far through Vikas Mela. Apart from that, approval for construction of Pucca housing for 4,553 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, drinking water connection to 4,823 households under Jal Jeevan Mission and Ayushman Bharat cards to 2,410 beneficiaries have been provided. 3,998 farmers have been brought under PMKISAN in the district. 847 persons have been provided with Kisan Credit Cards. 89 tea garden workers were given land under Mukhyamantri Cha Shramik Kalyan Yojana. 928 beneficiaries have been provided with the benefits of Atal Pension Yojana.
