State government is going whole hog with arranging block level Health Fair across the state.
According to official sources, a preparatory meeting was held at the conference hall of Chandipur Panchayat Samiti on April 10 for the successful conduction of Chandipur Block-Level Health Fair. The meeting was presided over by Chairman of Chandipur Panchayat Samiti Lucky Pal Das. The Block-Level Health Fair will be held in four blocks of Unakoti district on April 18.
Chandipur Block-Level Health Fair will be organized at Manu Valley High School campus by Unakoti District Health & Family Welfare Samiti with the assistance of Chandipur Block Office and Samrurpar PHC. Patients will be provided free allopathic, homeopathy and ayurvedic medicines in the Health Fair. There will also be arrangement for preparing Aadhar and Ayushman Bharat cards. A blood donation camp will be organized on the occasion of Health Fair.
Vice Chairman of Chandipur Panchayat Samiti Sandip Kurmi, BDO L. Chattachang, Surveillance Officer of district health department Dr. Sankhasubhra Debnath, MOIC of Samrurpar PHC Dr. Riya Bhadra, Pradhan and Upapradhans of different Panchayats of the block, Chandipur Block SDPO, Block Inspectorate of Schools joined the meeting. This was informed by Chandipur Block Office.
A similar meeting also decided that with the joint initiative of Health & Family Welfare department office of Dhalai district office and Ambassa Block Office, a Block-Level Health Fair will be organized on April 20 at Satyaram Choudhury Para Residential HS School campus at 11am. A preparatory meeting was held at the office of Ambassa Block BDO. BDO Munmun Debbarma, Chairperson of Ambassa Panchayat Samiti Suchitra Debbarma, Officer In-charge of Ambassa PHC Kamal Halam, SDPO Sankha Subhra Sen, social activist Amit Kumar Reang and Headmaster of Satyaram Choudhury Para Residential HS School Ramba Mohan Molsom joined the meeting. 15 stalls on behalf of Health & Family Welfare department and a stall of Ambassa ICDS Project will be opened at the event. Free health check-ups, blood test, Covid-19 tests will be done and Covid-19 vaccination, free medicines will be given during the Health Fair. Awareness on healthcare will be generated among the public. Ayush Clinic will be open at the Health Fair. Ambassa Block BDO invites all to take the facilities in the Health Fair.
Apart from that with the initiative of Health & Family Welfare department, a Block-Level Health Fair will be organized on April 18 at Jampuijala Block Office campus. 16 stalls will be opening at the venue on behalf of the health department. Free health check-ups will be done by specialists and doctors and free medicines will be distributed in the Health Fair. A preparatory meeting was held at the conference hall of Jampuijala SDM office for the successful conduction of the Block-Level Health Fair. The meeting was presided over by Jampuijala BAC Chairman, MLA Birendra Kishore Debbarma. Jampuijala SDM Sanjit Debbarma, Jampuijala Block BDO Rajib Debbarma, Jampuijala SDPO Dipankar Pal, officials of different department of the sub-division and social activists joined the meeting.
