Tripura government is actively contemplating the idea of make the retirement age of the Tripura State Rifles Jawans to 60. At present the TSR personnel go to retirement at the age of 58.
While visiting the TSR 2nd Bn HQ at Khayerpur Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb dropped a clear hint in this regard.
He said We are considering to make the retirement age of TSR jawas besides other issues relating to their welfare and professional acumen’.
The Chief Minister at present visiting all the TSR HQs and camps to get a first-hand knowledge of their activities and living as well as service conditions.
