The Union Government has called for an all-party meeting on Sunday morning ahead of the start of the Monsoon Session of Parliament. This meeting has been convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi. The floor leaders of all political parties have been invited to this meeting.

Our correspondent reports, that the India-China border standoff, and the Agnipath scheme for short-term recruitment to the armed forces,  are some of the issues the Opposition is likely to bring up in the upcoming Session.
Earlier, the NDA leaders met on July 10, for a detailed discussion on strategy ahead of the Monsoon Session.

The Election for the President will take place on the opening day of the session which is July 18 and the Election to the Vice President to take place on August 6.

The Session will continue till 12th August. This Monsoon Session is important given the fact that the Presidential Election and the Vice Presidential election will be held during this Session. The  Vice Presidential election will be held on the 6th of next month.
