Prime Minister Narendra Modi has applauded the Cabinet decisions. In a series of social media posts, the Prime Minister said the Cabinet today made two significant decisions by approving two new ropeways in Uttarakhand. He said the construction of these ropeways from Sonprayag to Kedarnath and from Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib Ji will not only save devotees’ time but also make their journey more convenient.

Mr Modi said the Cabinet’s approval for the revised Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme will assist in disease control, boost vaccination coverage, and ensure affordable medicines for animals. He said it is a big step towards better animal health, higher productivity, and prosperity for farmers.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also lauded the Cabinet decision on approving two ropeway projects in Uttarakhand.

In a social media post, Mr. Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the biggest gift to the pilgrims of Baba Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib. He said that the construction of ropeways from Sonprayag to Kedarnath and from Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib Ji will save the time of the devotees and make the journey more convenient.
