They who want to travel, they will travel, come what may. Notwithstanding government restrictions too. Restrictions like the one that were put in place after Covid pandemic hit the world, may delay the travel plan but they cannot stop one from going out for infinite time. And if it is the exotic beaches by the side of blue deep ocean, palm trees, local cashew made Feni or for that matter sea-fish fries the call just cannot be ignored. Goa remains for ages an enchanting place for the travellers and tourists. Keeping this in mind, the IRCTC, a Government of India Enterprise, under the Ministry of Railways has come up with an ambitious plan. They are going to operate the maiden trip of Pilgrim Special Tourist Train for Goa starting from Agartala. This train will comprise Sleeper and 3 Tier AC coaches.
The trip of the train is scheduled to originate from Agartala Railway Station on September 30 in 2021 late afternoon. En route stoppages at Badarpur-Guwahati- New Bongaigaon-New Cooch Behar- New Jalpaiguri and Malda will be provided for passengers’ boarding and deboarding.
The package duration for Vibrant GOA PSTT will be 11 nights/ 12 days from Agartala. Passengers from Guwahati will board the train in the morning of 1st October, 2021 and the duration of the trip will be 10 Nights till Guwahati.
Along with confirmed train reservations in the opted class, esteemed passengers will be provided with tasty vegetarian meals with package drinking water bottles. At Goa, land transportation by coaches, hall dormitories, accommodation for Sleeper class and hotel accommodation for AC 3 Tire passengers will be provided on a sharing basis.
On board Security guards without arms will be on duty in every coach for the safety and security of the passengers and their luggage. Guides and escorts will also be provided throughout the tour to assist the passengers in all possible ways. To meet the demand of any medical attention during the trip, a medical team will also be available throughout the trip.
The fare for availing the trip has been kept at Rs. 11,340 per person in Sleeper class and Rs. 18,900 per person at AC -3 Tier class. The fare is inclusive of the entire train journey, all meals with drinking water bottle, hall/ dormitory and hotel/ lodge accommodation and land transportation in Goa along with ancillary services of on board security guards, guides and escorts on board public address system etc.
