The Faculty of Law of The ICFAI University Tripura is offering a Permanent Legal Aid Clinic established by the Tripura Legal Services Authorities since 2015 and established Pro Bono Club since 2021 under the Nyaya Bandhu Scheme of the Ministry of Law & Justice, Govt. of India.
Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Club of the University is offering free legal consultancy, door-to-door legal assistance and conducting various legal awareness programs to the neighbouring communities. Free legal consultancy services are provided on every Monday from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm by the faculty members associated with the Legal Aid Clinic of the University and the representative of the West district legal service authority of Tripura Legal Services Authorities. The free legal aid services is provided to those poor and marginalized
people who cannot afford to deploy a lawyer for the resolution of any civil and criminal matters or a legal proceeding in any Court, Tribunal or Authority. Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Club of the University is coordinated by Dr. Anindita Choudhury, Assistant Professor of the University. All concerned may avail the free legal consultancy services on every Monday from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm at the University Campus as intimated by the University authority.
