The mothers and sisters of the state now do not have to go out in the rain to demand help for themselves and their families. They don’t have to protest. The present government has been helping the mothers and sisters of the rural areas to become financially self-sufficient. The present government wants women’s empowerment, said Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma after inaugurating distribution program of sewing machines at Liladeb Memorial Community Hall of Charilam block recently.
The Deputy Chief Minister said, to build Ek Tripura, Sreshtha Tripura requires women empowerment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that only through empowerment of mothers and sisters is it possible to build a better India. In order to become financially self-sufficient, rural women need to come forward in a united manner and make good use of various government assistances. The government is ready to provide all kinds of assistances for the advancement of women.
Other dignitaries preset during the distribution program were Sepahijala District Magistrate Vishwasree B., Member of Sepahijala Zilla Parishad Kakali Deb, Member of Charilam Panchayat Samiti Rajkumar Debnath and others. Deputy Chief Minister and other guests handed over sewing machines to 20 women of the block area. Total 200 women were distributed sewing machines during the distribution program.
