Yuva Vikash Kendra (YVK), in collaboration with Techno India University Tripura, organized a colorful event titled ‘Ek Sham Shahido Ke Naam’ to celebrate the 78th Independence Day celebrated with fervor and patriotism at the Sukanta Academy Auditorium

 The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Ratan Kumar Saha, Vice Chancellor, Techno India University Tripura; Advocate Sandip Datta Choudhary,   Editor of Tripuranet.com s Manas Pal, Assistant Commandant Pritam Das, Assam Rifles, Assistant Commandant Ravi Kant Negi, BSF; Inspector Dipmani Bora, CRPF and Er. Tapan Lodh, Chairman, YVK, Debashis Majumder, President, YVK, Pinku Das, Trustee, YVK.

The event commenced with a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s martyrs. As a mark of respect and gratitude, YVK felicitated the families of seven soldiers who had made the supreme sacrifice for the country. Their unwavering courage and selfless dedication were lauded by all present.

The event was a poignant homage to Shaheed Sudip Sarkar from 169 BN BSF, Shaheed Sunil Debbarma from 41 BN CRPF, Shaheed Mangal Debbarma from 18 BN Assam Rifles, Shaheed Sukumani Debbarma from 34 BN Assam Rifles, Shaheed James Debbarma from 23 BN Assam Rifles, and Shaheed Manga Ram Debbarma from 73 BN CRPF.

The first half of the program was followed by a captivating cultural programme featuring local artists. Their patriotic performances, filled with fervor and emotion, enthralled the audience. The performances served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by countless heroes for the nation’s freedom.

The event provided a platform to honor the martyrs and instil a sense of patriotism among the youth. It was a fitting tribute to the brave souls who laid down their lives for the country.
