As the state celebrated this grand occasion, a stunning 2,870 community pujas unfolded, showcasing the rich cultural tapestry of Tripura.
The festival’s grandeur was graced by the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and other prominent leaders, who inaugurated pandals at various locations throughout the state. Their visits to major pujas in Agartala added to the festive spirit.
The city embraced elaborate security arrangements and smooth traffic management during the festival days, ensuring that the celebrations proceeded peacefully.

This year, Durga Puja saw an intriguing shift in themes, with temple-inspired creations dominating the scene. These unique themes captivated visitors and redefined the city’s traditional artistry, sparking a buzz on social media and within local communities. The city dazzled with spectacular illuminations, drawing large crowds of pandal hoppers.
Despite a weather forecast of heavy rainfall on Bijoya Dashami, the skies remained clear, attracting huge gatherings of pandal hoppers to the city.
While some puja organisers began idol immersion on Tuesday, the grandeur and festivity persisted into Wednesday, with large gatherings outside big-budget pandals eagerly awaiting their turn to experience the magic of Durga Puja.
